Crypto Simulator ("we", "us", or "the app") is a free educational crypto trading simulator that uses fake money and real market prices. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

When you use Crypto Simulator, we may collect the following information:

• Google account info — If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo. This is used for your in-app profile, multiplayer game rooms, and cloud sync.
• Portfolio data — Your simulated portfolio (fake money balances, trade history, holdings) is stored locally on your device and, if you sign in, synced to our cloud servers.
• Push notification tokens — If you enable push notifications, we store your device token to send you alerts about game progress, order fills, and price alerts.
• Game room data — When you create or join multiplayer rooms, your display name, profile photo, and game wallet are visible to other players in the same room.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide the core trading simulation experience
• To sync your portfolio across devices via cloud backup
• To enable multiplayer game rooms and leaderboards
• To send push notifications you have opted in to
• To display real-time cryptocurrency market data

Third-Party Services

Crypto Simulator uses the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase — For authentication, cloud database (Firestore), and push notifications (FCM). Firebase Privacy Policy
• Google Sign-In — For account authentication. Google Privacy Policy
• CoinGecko / Binance APIs — For real-time cryptocurrency price data. No personal data is sent to these services.

Data Storage and Security

Your portfolio data is stored locally on your device using shared preferences. If you sign in, it is also stored in Google Cloud Firestore with security rules that ensure only you can access your own data. Game room data is accessible to other authenticated players in the same room.

Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as you have an account. You can delete your data at any time by signing out and resetting your account within the app. If you wish to have your cloud data fully removed, contact us at the email below.

Children's Privacy

Crypto Simulator is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us so we can delete it.

No Real Money

Crypto Simulator is purely educational. No real money, real cryptocurrency, or real financial transactions are involved. The app uses fake money only. Nothing in the app constitutes financial advice.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
